Dr. Desai is an angel investor of Kamat Pharmatech. He counsels on matters related to business development and consolidation.

Dr. Desai completed his Ph.D. from Penn State University and later did his post-doctoral studies from University of Kansas in drug metabolism. He has over twenty years of pharmaceutical experience. He worked in small generic (Par Pharmaceuticals) and large pharmaceutical companies (Warner Lambert and Wyeth). Most recently, he worked in Schering Plough / Merck in clinical manufacturing, managing projects related to cleaning verification / validation, and advising on analytical method development.
